Coalition Participation

Business coalitions serve their local business communities in various organizational aspects, especially concerning healthcare benefits for employees.  Many coalitions throughout the country are members of the National Business Coalition on Health, an organization dedicated to advising its members about ways to provide safe, efficient, high-quality healthcare to their employees.  Visit http://www.nbch.org/mbrbenefits/members.cfm for a list of participating coalitions.

The National Business Coalition on Health offers several solutions to its members that help improve healthcare, and one of these solutions is Bridges to Excellence programs.  In Bridges to Excellence programs, coalitions may serve as the local market leader to align stakeholders—payers and providers—around the common goal of improving the quality of care delivered to patients by physicians.  Coalitions employ their networking efforts to recruit physicians, obtain employer support, and organize the structure of the program within the local market.  Both the National Business Coalition on Health and Bridges to Excellence continually recognizes coalitions for their diligent efforts and assists in both the organizational and implementation phases of the programs.
