Physician Tools & Resources

Physician On Line Services:
The Bridges to Excellence Program has partnered with Health Grades, to offer the Physician On Line Services web site (POS) which allows physicians to register for BTE and identify their practice for the purposes of participating in BTE and receiving rewards. Registering at the POS is the start to the recognition process. It is the opportunity to provide the most up to date information about physicians, the practice, office hours, and philosophy of care.

How to Get Started

Eligible Physicians and associated practice administrators must sign up to participate in BTE through HealthGrades’ Physicians Online Services (POS) tool at www.healthgrades.com/physician/bte. In the HealthGrades POS tool you can also update your physician or practice information, verify patient counts and confirm your BTE ID and BTE Practice ID.

Any updates to physician or practice information via the POS will also be made available to consumers at www.healthgrades.com.  Studies show that consumers are drawn toward expanded physician profiles. By updating your profile, you can distinguish your practice with the information consumers are searching for and generate more interest in your practice.

Physicians

You will be asked to search on your name to start the registration process.  Once you locate yourself, continue the registration process. Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive an email with your user name, temporary password, and BTE ID.  Follow the link to log in, update your personal information (especially your UPIN), and review your patient count(s).

Practice Administrators

You will be asked to search on the name of a BTE eligible physician in your practice. Once you locate the physician, continue the registration process and identify yourself as a Practice Administrator. Upon completion of the registration process, you will receive an email with your user name, temporary password, and BTE Practice ID.  Follow the link to log in, update information for your practice, associate and update physician information (especially UPINs), and review patient count(s).

If you are a practice administrator with responsibility for multiple practices, you must register and log in to each of your practices separately.  Please note that the system requires a different email address for each practice for which you register.
